The first decade of her career was spent in professional services working in-house for several well-known accountancy and legal practices before she set up her own consultancy business.  It wasn’t long before Lesley’s expertise was snapped up by one of Wales’ leading marketing and communication consultancies and she made the transition back to an in-house role for a further eight years.  During this time she worked closely alongside the Board advising on all aspects of HR and people management as the company made a series of mergers and acquisitions, floated on AIM and delisted.

Lesley then made the leap back to being an independent consultant and she now splits her time between providing a wide range of HR services from her Cardiff base to organisations across the Principality, whilst also working with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the membership body for people practitioners, heading up their Wales operation.

Lesley has a background spanning the private, public and not for profit sectors including local government, manufacturing, hospitality, higher education, scientific consultancy, professional services, transport & logistics, telecoms, retail, charity and childcare.  She has also worked with a number of individuals over the years.

Highlights of Lesley’s career include leading on a mass recruitment campaign to support an £80m investment in a new manufacturing facility, strategic consultancy on restructuring for a major public sector organisation and managing integration and harmonisation of staff during a series of acquisitions.
